Dr. Morgan Davies
Hi, I’m Dr. Morgan Davies, licensed clinical psychologist. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from York University in Toronto. I then earned my Master of Science and Doctor of Psychology degrees at Florida Institute of Technology.
My clinical training includes a comprehensive 2000-hour internship at the University of South Florida treating anxiety, OCD, grief, trauma, and difficult life transitions. I also completed a specialized 2000-hour postdoctoral fellowship in a partial hospitalization program treating severe OCD, anxiety, and phobias.
I’ve been integrating these training experiences into my work ever since and actively elevate my specialized skills through continuing education, training, and consultation with other psychologists.
I’ve worked in settings including integrative health, intensive outpatient, partial-hosptialization, college/univeristy counseling, and private practice. I also served as an adjunct professor teaching doctoral level clinical psychology courses.
My style as a therapist is warm, personable, and authentic. I’m known for being non-judgmental, funny at times, and gently challenging. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a real, human connection combined with professional expertise. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, but I don’t believe in a “one-size-fits-all” model. Instead, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, values, and goals.
